Put simply, BedHead is a comedy web series about two friends, one weekend and the worst sex EVER.

Created by Claire Phillips, Tom Keele, Benjamin Matthews, Reece Jones and Jon Dalgaard, this comedy will have you in hysterics and cringing simultaneously.

What’s special or different about your series?

BedHead allows you to hear what the other person is thinking during sex and it’s as embarrassing, brutally honest, and funny as you’d expect.

What (and/or who) inspired your series?

Definitely NOT our own sex-lives.

Why should people watch your series?

Having a laugh at other people doing spectacular fails in the bedroom is a rare treat not to be missed. Besides, watching BedHead is a little bit like having sex; it’s always heaps of fun and you can do it by yourself or with others. But don’t do it with granny, that’s never going to feel right.

What do you want audiences to take away from your series?

A sexually transmitted disease? No, we joke. We want our audience to come away from our series feeling like they’ve just had some really great intercourse.

What is your favourite thing about making web series’?

The format allows for experimentation and risk taking. We literally asked ourselves “what are the things they’ll never let us do on TV?” And then we went ahead and did all of those things!

There are some pretty racy scenes in BedHead. Tell us about how your family and friends reacted to the series.

Our families are incredibly supportive and open-minded. That being said we haven’t actually had the guts to show them yet.

How did you combat any awkwardness you encountered during the filming of your series?

We had a blanket rule on set, the cast and crew was to be naked at all times. Naked people walking around electrical equipment and hot lamps is never a good idea it turns out.

Have you achieved the goals you set for this series?

Not quite yet, but when we screen at MWF we will have.

You recently finished a TV pilot for ABC. Can you give us a bit on insight into what that was like?

We’ve really loved making the web series into a television pilot although we have to admit that at times, it was actually really hard. Mainly because the format is a lot longer and so we had to write more. Also, our co-writer & co-creator (who shall remain nameless), got a little bit caught up in doing research and so he was out of action for a while with one bad case of repetitive strain syndrome. But, we wouldn’t have been able to write the pilot without his many, many hilariously embarrassing stories, so thank you Tom, and get well soon.
