New Festival Partner: TreeCircle Media

Watch, Play, Share and Monetize: TreeCircle Media is dedicated to transmedia storytelling and immersive fiction.  Customised transmedia experience interfaces, deconstructing, extracting and remodelling high quality series content into multiple online audience products are at the core of what they do. Using the TreeCircle technology, web series can be monetised directly by the creators themselves.

TreeCircle Media shares the same vision of Melbourne WebFest in supporting web series creators. The first core mission is to reset the ecosystem for the creators.  Independent productions can monetise through smart transmedia architecting and have their very own interactive interface.

TreeCircle is committed to being a driving force of this storytelling evolution, they put creators at the centre of production — together with their partners, ensuring all best and well-deserved in digital series entertainment around the world are successful.  MWF is excited to welcome TreeCircle Media to Melbourne in July, where they will present their new platform with a premiere of 3×3 The Immersive Fiction on opening night.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”2433″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self” img_link=”treecircle-media.com”][image_with_animation image_url=”2450″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self” img_link=”https://www.3x3theimmersivefiction.com/”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][divider line_type=”Full Width Line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Innovation Award

As another component of the partnership between MWF and TreeCirlce Media, we have established an Innovation Award, which will be presented by CEO, Damien Javelle.

The winner of the award will be offered free advice and consultation with TreeCircle Media’s graphic artists and developers, to create an interactive interface for the series on the TreeCircle platform — with the view to help the winner distribute their series on a range of platforms and devices.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”2555″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][divider line_type=”Full Width Line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][image_with_animation image_url=”2496″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self” img_link=”https://www.netpitch.com.au/”][vc_column_text]

New Festival Sponsor: netpitch

Melbourne Web Fest is thrilled to welcome netpitch aboard as a festival sponsor.

netpitch is a platform for professional creators and producers of online entertainment to connect with brands in search of original and unique content.

Due to launch in time for the festival, this new platform will give creators of online entertainment the opportunity to directly access brand briefs and to showcase their talent and expertise in making quality web-based entertainment.

“Brands are looking for new and creative ways to build audiences online and there is a real opportunity for creators of web-based entertainment to engage in this space,” says netpitch founder Kris Darmody, who has experience working in both the Australian film & television and content marketing industries.

“It’s about brands commissioning content that connects with audiences and consumers in a more subtle way through a quality story whether it be a drama, comedy or factual web-series, or other online format.”

“The sponsorship with netpitch is a natural fit for the festival,” says Festival Director Steinar Ellingsen.

“With Australian content making up almost half the series screening in the festival, it’s clear the we have great talent in this country.  Government funded sources have helped produce some fantastic content, but it’s a limited pool and netpitch provides a simple and cost-effective way for Australian talent to collaborate with brands that want entertaining and engaging content.”
