Ahead of the inaugural Melbourne Web Series Festival on 20 July, we’re profiling all 30 series that made the Official Selection list. Next up is My Lupine Life created by Teri Armitage and Torin Stefanson.
Filmed on-location in Saskatoon, Canada, My Lupine Life is a story about Louis Pine who is utterly convinced he’s turning werewolf thanks to a rare genetic inheritance from his absent father. But Louis’ friends and family think he may be going loopy not lupine. Who’s right?
Right now the creators of “My Lupine Life” are working on more videos, an interactive ebook (kind of like our Seth On Survival related interactive ebook Archie Hartigan and the Frost Wolf), along with updates to the Lupine Life mobile app.
Will Louis be found? If he is will Sydney and Louis be able to be together? Is Mauricio really cured? Is Louis’ mom really a witch? Will Uncle Lincoln ever learn to play the ukulele? All these questions and more will be answered. Soon-ish.
What inspired your series?
The series is a spin off of the series Seth On Survival and it’s iPhone app The Monstrometer. From SOS we discovered that there were a LOT of werewolves out there that needed a show and a web site and an app just for them and Lupine Life was born.
Why should people watch your series?
Because it’s awesome and if you watch it (and watch it lots and share it) then we will be able to make more. And if you don’t monsters will eat your face.
What do you want people to take away from your series?
A burning desire to be a werewolf.
